I have a Hotpoint 4-5yrold gas stove:the burners/timer/cloc work but the oven and broil do not-what do I do?

The gas apparently is not turned on. Turn the knob on a stove burner to ignite and see if you hear a clicking noise. The gas flow should also start and ignite. If you get the clicking but no ignition, turn to high and listen for gas flow. If you hear nothing, slide the drawer our from under the stove and look at the gas line. The petcock should be turned parallel to the gas line. If it is turned on, go check the valve at the gas meter. The egg shaped valve should be turned to match up with the valve body. If you still have no luck, call the gas company.
