What college major can make you a better people person? Besides teaching and communications?

I'd really like to expand my language and people skills. I find myself having plenty of short chats with people, but rarely deep conversations where I only pose as a listener. I want to know more about everything, and how to make explanations clearer. I'm not a big fan of debating, but general teaching and conversation is the goal. I like to lead. But not all the time.
